SWYMERS · Surviving Women, Youth and Men

We equip SWYMERS to become resources for others

Participants are SWYMER Care Pathway Members. The program supports economic empowerment through role exploration, official-requirement literacy, readiness planning and peer leadership.

Boundaries

What SWYMERS is and is not

What it is

Education, official-source navigation, an internal readiness checklist, a private portfolio and optional peer leadership.

What it is not

Not a placement, referral, matching or staffing service. GIFT does not issue credentials or grant government approval of any kind.

Role families with the authority that actually sets each requirement.

Independent Work Toolkit

Business basics, taxes, classification and recordkeeping — education only.

GIFT readiness statuses are internal planning tools. They do not grant a license, certification, government approval, Medicaid enrollment, employment eligibility or authority to provide a regulated service.

Surviving Women, Youth and Men — SWYMER Peer Ambassador is an internal outreach title and is never a licensed or certified Peer Specialist credential.
